VIBR (Visitor Information Booth Representitive) Overview:
As a Visitor Information Booth Representative for Visit Kansas City Kansas, you will be responsible for providing information about Kansas City, Kansas at local events and conventions. You will interact with visitors, promoting tourism in KCK and providing information about events and activities in the area. Your positive and friendly demeanor will help create an exciting and lasting impression of our community and its attractions.
Responsibilities:
- Set up information booth supplies such as giveaways, brochures, signage, table covers, etc.
- Engage with event attendees and promote the local community as a destination for tourism
- Distribute promotional materials and provide information on local attractions, activities, and events
- Monitor the visitor booth area, ensuring that it is always tidy and presentable
- Be on time and courteous to all attendees and staff
- Keep an inventory of the brochures and visitor guides distributed
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Kansas City Kansas area attractions, restaurants, events, and neighborhoods
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Reliable transportation to travel to office and/or event locations

Compensation: $17.50/hour + meals (if applicable)
