Trails & Hiking

Discover all sorts of outdoor fun by taking a hike in one of our many parks, including Wyandotte Lake Park which is home to trails ranging from a quarter of a mile to 3 miles long. Walk, run or bike along the Island View Loop of the Armourdale Hike and Bike Trail which runs along the Kansas River. Enjoy the entirely volunteer-built Rozark Nature Trails located in the Rosedale neighborhood. Make a visit to one of the stops on the same trail Lewis and Clark explored when they stopped Kaw Point and camped for three days. The Lewis and Clark Heritage Trail connects Bikers and hikers to Kansas City, Missouri via the historic Woodsweather Bridge. There’s no shortage of places to explore and trails to follow in Kansas City, Kansas
