2026 Grants and Funding Opportunities

Visit KCK Marketing Grant

The VisitKCK Foundation has started the application process for our Marketing and Community Grants, designed to support marketing efforts and community-driven projects across Wyandotte County.

Funding for the 2026 budget cycle has been officially extended, and no additional applications will be accepted for that period. However, we welcome Letters of Intent (LOIs) for consideration in the 2027 funding cycle. Organizations interested in future funding are encouraged to submit an LOI outlining their proposed project for 2027 needs.

If you are interested in applying for a grant, please email grants@visitkckfoundation.com with a Letter of Interest (LOI) indicating which grant(s) you are applying for.

Use the subject line: [Grant Name] LOI (for example: Community Grant LOI).

Your Letter of Interest should not exceed 500 words. After your LOI is received and reviewed, selected applicants will be invited to complete the full application.

Applications will be evaluated and the top applicants for each grant will be invited to participate in a brief interview.

Each user can only use tickets once per venue during the 2026 season.

The scheduled 2026 Sunflower Summer user season will run from Thursday, July 9 through Sunday, August 2, 2026. Must apply by May 6.

Heartland Craft Guilds: Capacity Support Grants

Heartland Craft Guilds: Capacity Support Grants is a grant program that supports craft guilds and cultural organizations rooted in preserving and sustaining craft traditions, community-based knowledge, and hands-on making across America’s heartland.

Through unrestricted funding and shared learning with other guild leaders, Heartland Craft Guilds builds organizational capacity by supporting the leadership and operational systems that help organizations serve members, deepen practice, and maintain long-term stability and organizational health.

Heartland Craft Guilds is a program of Mid-America Arts Alliance (M-AAA), developed with support from the Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation. The program reflects a shared commitment to hands-on engagement with materials, mastery of technique, and the preservation, innovation, and evolution of heritage work, particularly within under-resourced and historically overlooked communities.

M-AAA expects to grant a total of $180,000 in the region, through 15 unrestricted, non-matching organizational grants of $12,000 each.

Applications open March 24, 2026, and close May 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. CT. Read the application announcement.
