Burn off the holiday meals at the Skating Rink! 

Skate City Wyandotte


  • Skating on the recently updated floor at Skate City West is the perfect evening activity to burn off some of the winter and holiday meals! Skate City offers a Family Skate Night every Friday from 6 PM to 10 PM! 

  • They offer adult skate classes on Tuesday nights from 6 PM - 7 PM  followed by an adult skate night on Wednesdays from 8 PM to 10:30 PM. They also offer private party packages and other times to skate! 

  • If you're more into skateboarding, Ride Four Ever is Kansas City's only Indoor Skate Park. They are located inside of they offer a skate school on Saturday mornings and even have loaner boards you can use.

Epic Clay Art Studio Class

  • Epic Clay Studio is a community studio located in Strawberry Hill. EPIC's mission is to increase arts accessibility to kids, particularly kids with disabilities, as well as seniors, adults, and kids from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, and is ADA Compliant.

  • They offer drop-in open studio classes, themed hand-built classes, and are offering a pottery wheel class every Tuesday! 

  • If you need a good date night, Epic Clay offers a date night pottery wheel class which is great for all levels and focuses on making functional pieces, like mugs, plates and bowls.

  • Make a trip to Cabela's, located in Village West near Legend's Outlets, for shopping, roaming, and seeing your favorite animals up close at their mountain exhibit or on-site aquarium!

  • Visit the General Store for goodies that you can take home and enjoy at home after your trip!

Strawberry Hill Tea Room

  • Make a trip to the Strawberry Hill Museum and Cultural Center which celebrates the many nationalities of Kansas City residents. 

  • Enjoy an afternoon in their Tea Room which is open Saturday and Sunday afternoons starting at noon. They offer soup, quiches, and a variety of delicious, authentic desserts with tea or coffee!
