When people talk about Kansas City's favorite sandwiches, there’s one that almost always mentioned first: the Z-Man at Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que. Take a taste for yourself and you'll know it's for a good reason. But if you think that’s where the sandwich conversation ends, you’re missing a lot of what makes KCK’s food scene so interesting.

Here are 10 local favorite sandwiches to you must try in Kansas City, Kansas.

Z-Man

The Z-Man at Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que

You'll often find a long line at orginal Joe's KC, which is attached to a gas station, but the buzz of anticipation and the final reward of biting into the Z-Man, with sauce running down your hands, is an iconic Kansas City experience you won't want to miss.
