New Travel Resource Is Fully Stocked and Open at Nebraska Furniture

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Visit Kansas City Kansas officially launched a mobile visitors center on Monday at Nebraska Furniture Mart as part of its “Kick it in KCK” campaign. The mobile visitors center is a travel resource for the anticipated visitors coming to Kansas City for the upcoming soccer matches.

Visit KCK transformed a shipping container into an air conditioned, visibly branded hub with retractable doors for visitors to enter and find ways to experience KCK. The visitors center is staffed with guides to help international, regional and local travelers.

Guests can access destination information, receive travel planning assistance, learn about area events, and find “Kick It in KCK” merchandise throughout the tournament period.

The mobile visitors center is designed to extend the impact of the “Kick it KCK” campaign's by connecting visitors with KCK’s restaurants, entertainment districts, attractions, and neighborhoods while encouraging exploration beyond matchday experiences.

The “Kick it in KCK” campaign is now underway with branded displays, street pole banners and graphics recently placed throughout corridors of KCK, including Village West, downtown KCK, and the Rock Island Bridge. Large banners drape the entrance of Memorial Hall in downtown KCK as the official “Kick It in KCK” watch party location.
