Visit KCK and the Unified Government expressed gratitude to the passionate soccer fans, community partners, sponsors, volunteers, and local businesses who helped make the "Kick It in KCK" watch parties and street festivals a success.

“We’ve welcomed passionate fans to KCK to watch their teams and celebrate the game together,” said Alan Carr, executive director of Visit Kansas City, Kansas. “With many ways to experience the matches, we didnt quite get the numbers we expected. We encourage fans to explore KCK, support local businesses, and discover everything the community has to offer during FIFA World Cup™ activities.”

During FIFA World Cup™ activities, Kansas City, Kansas, offers fans a wide variety of experiences across the city, including free watch parties and concerts at Sporting Park, as part of Soccer Capital Summer. Additional watch party locations include St. John’s Catholic Club for Croatia supporters and Rock Island Bridge, which will host watch parties featuring food, beverages, and riverfront views, as well as numerous neighborhood bars, restaurants, and locally hosted gatherings throughout Kansas City, Kansas.

As visitors continue arriving in the Kansas City region during FIFA World Cup™ activities, both organizations are encouraging fans to keep kicking it in KCK by supporting local businesses and experiencing the community beyond match venues.

Visitors can explore the KCK Taco Trail, featuring more than 60 taquerias, and enjoy Kansas City-style barbecue along the KCK BBQ Trail.

The June 18 events drew the largest crowd of the series, with more than 600 people attending throughout the evening. Anchored by Copa de Calle street soccer, the event helped set the tone for an energetic night at historic Memorial Hall. Kick It in KCK watch parties and the One World Wyandotte Street Festival added to the atmosphere, bringing together fans, families, and visitors.

The evening served as a high-energy finale to the series, highlighted by Mexico’s win and capping off one of the most vibrant and well-attended nights of the program.
