Visit Kansas City Kansas is seeking a Content Coordinator. This position is responsible for Visit Kansas City Kansas social media channels, content development and influencer program. This position reports to the Marketing & Communications Manager and assists with marketing initiatives that promote and expand the Visit Kansas City Kansas brand.


  • Develop, implement, and manage strategy for each social media platform
  • Assist in development of content calendar
  • Create engaging content for social media in text, image, and video format
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics
  • Develop and manage influencer marketing strategy
  • Maintain calendar of events, information and listings on Visit Kansas City Kansas site and partner websites
  • Write and edit marketing content for blog articles, website, publications, newsletters, brochures and fliers
  • Perform all other office tasks as assigned


  • Experience with social media management and content development
  • Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
  • Basic understanding of graphic design and video editing
  • Familiar with marketing channels and online marketing strategies
  • Creative minded with the ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content
  • General knowledge of Kansas City KS and the entire KC metro area
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong attention to detail

Compensation:  $35,000.00 to $38,000.00 /year
