FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE T-Bones to Host Pro Fight Night MMA Returns to CommunityAmerica Ballpark KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Kansas City T-Bones have announced that the club will host a special Mixed Martial Arts Fight Night at CommunityAmerica Ballpark on Saturday September 30.
The T-Bones along with Carden Combat Sports present CARDEN COMBAT SPORTS 3, a fight card featuring over a dozen matches of MMA, Boxing and Kickboxing with a ring and cage 10 feet apart.
“We’re delighted as an organization to bring back MMA fighting and boxing to CommunityAmerica Ballpark. This event shows the versatility of our park,” said Vice President and General Manager Chris Browne of the Kansas City T-Bones. “We’re glad to bring championship professional fighting to KCK and the metro area later this fall. This will be a fun event.”
John Carden promoter from Carden Combat Sports added, " I am extremely thrilled with the opportunity to partner with the Kansas City T-Bones and bring Combat Sports to the hottest market area in Kansas City! I truly believe that September 30th will be just the beginning of what will be a long and great adventure together for not only the T-bones and myself but for the sports fans in this area."
Tickets will go on sale Tuesday at noon at the Providence Medical Center Box Office and online at T-BonesBaseball.com or call 913-328-5618. Ring side tables are priced at $80 while floor seats are $60. Prime Seats will be $40 with GA tickets going for $20. Suites are also on sale for $375 for a minimum of 15 tickets.
“The T-Bones are a first-class organization and one of the most successful professional organizations in Kansas. We are excited to be partnering with them and Carden Combat Sports in bringing an outstanding night of fights to CommunityAmerica Ballpark,” said Adam Roorbach Executive Director of the Kansas Athletic Commission.
There will also be a special appearance at the event by Hasim Rahman and Art Davie creator of the UFC and subject of the book “Is This Legal”.
