Visit any restaurant on the KCK Taco Trail on National Taco Day, Monday, Oct. 4 and get
a free taco to redeem in October

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Sept. 23, 2021) – Visit Kansas City Kansas launched the KCK Taco Trail in October 2020 to support and highlight the wide range of authentic, locally-owned taquerias in Kansas City, Kansas. Nearly a year later, the KCK Taco Trail has seen more than 15,257 restaurant check-ins and awarded 971 total prizes to trail participants, with 22 people completing the trail.

Due to the success of the trail, Visit KCK is extending the prize deadline to Oct. 31, 2022.  That means, people who have already signed up for trail will have approximately one more year to check into restaurants to win prizes and get their name added to the Taco Trail Wall of Fame. New in 2022, the KCK Taco Trail will feature special offers and deals from participating restaurants exclusive to pass holders only.

On National Taco Day, Monday, Oct. 4, visit and check-in to any restaurant on your KCK Taco Trail pass to receive your free taco. The free taco is eligible for redemption starting Tuesday, Oct. 5 through Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021.
