Celebrate 913 Day

Get ready to celebrate the 913 all week long with specials and exciting events happening throughout Wyandotte County! 913 Day weekend will kick off on Friday, September 12th with the Memorial Hall Centennial Celebration, honoring 100 years of the beloved Soldiers and Sailors memorial venue. This family-friendly block party in downtown KCK will be filled with fun, including live music, vendors, food, games and more!

Then on Saturday, September 13th (913 Day), come together to celebrate the 913 in style at the 913 Day Parade and Festival, brought to you by Blakck MarQet. The parade will start at 11:00 with marching bands, dance groups, and car clubs. More local performances and vendors will follow for the festival portion of the event. 

If you head out west you can also check out the Have a Nice Day Festival of the Midwest at NFM, in collaboration with Cafe Cà Phê from 11:00-5:00! Here you'll find food trucks and small business vendors from all cultures, along with performances, a mechanical bull and a a spicy challenge with Lisa Nguyen of Cafe Cà Phê. Flavor Passes are available for purchase, and include a meal, event t-shirt and a tequila tasting (must be 21+ to participate).
