  • Stroll the picturesque grounds of Huron Indian Cemetery, established in 1843 after the forced migration of the Wyandot Nation from their homes near Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Many of the Wyandot Nation succumbed to typhoid and cholera and were carried across the confluence of the Kaw and Missouri rivers to sacred ground. Many members of the Wyandot Nation of Kansas still reside in the area.
