Peter Frampton - The Farewell Tour at Starlight Theatre

  • Details
  • English rock musician and Grammy Award-winning artist Peter Frampton continues to be one of the most celebrated artists in rock history. Now, he hits the road in a farewell tour, including a stop at Starlight Theatre Monday, August 5.

Frampton began his musical career when he was 16 years old as a member of the psychedelic rock band The Herd. By 18, he had joined rockers Humble Pie and had played with artists like George Harrison and Harry Nilsson. But it wasn't until 1976 that he truly became an international breakthrough rock artist with the release of Frampton Comes Alive! The album has been certified platinum eight times over and, at the time, was the biggest selling live album. It includes hits like "Show Me the Way," "Baby, I Love Your Way," and "Do You Feel Like We Do," which continue to be staples of classic rock radio today.

Drummer Jason Bonham returns to Starlight to open Frampton's performance. Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening celebrates one of music's most iconic bands while also paying tribute to the life of his late father, Led Zeppelin's original drummer John Bonham, who dies in 1980.
