Visitors will enjoy new adventures as they follow the Yellow Brick Road to the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame in Bonner Springs when Oz Comes to Kansas... Dorothy Returns to Farm Town.
The four-day event, Aug. 2-5, will feature fun, food and festivities, including 45-minute performances by the Mesner Puppet Theater, memorabilia displays from the International Wizard of Oz Club, Oz-mazing Maze corn maze, Toto Photos and craft activities for kids. Visitors can also tour the "No Place Like Home" farm home, ride the train, see the farm animals, watch the blacksmith at his forge, and enjoy Oz-themed foods and treats. Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion and other Oz-costumed characters will mingle with visitors.

Friday and Saturday, Aug. 3-4 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Mesner Puppets at noon and 3)
Sunday, Aug. 5 – Noon to 6 p.m. (Mesner Puppets at 3)
Oz Comes to Kansas is being held in conjunction with the live stage version of the classic MGM musical Wizard of Oz next door to the Agricultural Hall of Fame at Providence Medical Center Amphitheater for five evenings, Aug. 1-5. Tickets for Oz Comes to Kansas will be available at the gate and for purchase in advance through EventBrite.com. Individual tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 2-12 and free under age 2.
Ticket prices for groups of 10 or more tickets are $5 for adults and $2.50 for children 2-12.
