Two long-running organizations, the KCK Farmers' Market and the Rosedale Farmers Market, combined in 2020 to better serve their customers. Focusing on neighborhoods with low grocery access, the KCK Farmers Market works with Double Up Food Bucks to offer matching dollars for SNAP/EBT (formerly food stamps) so that for each benefit dollar that customers spend at the markets, they will receive an additional dollar’s worth of healthy, local produce.
“Healthy, affordable food is always essential to keeping our city healthy and thriving,” said Stephanie Moore, KCKFM Board Chair. “KCK Farmers Market is committed to making good food available in our community.”
