  1. American Royal World Series of Barbecue
    What better way to kick off your Halloween weekend than how Kansas City knows best - with barbecue! The American Royal World Series of Barbecue is a longstanding tradition in Kansas City, and this year it will be held at Kansas Speedway, October 26th - 30th. Competitors from all over gather to join in on the world's largest barbecue competition to be crowned the grand champion!
    Bring you little foodies out for the Cowtown Family Fun Fest during the World Series of Barbecue on Saturday, October 29th.Kids can enjoy inflatables, face painting, a petting zoo, live music and much more!
     
  2. The Running Dead 5k                                                                                                                               The Running Dead 5K is Kansas City's most zombie-rific run! Sign up as a human and race to the finish line and escape the Zombie Attack Zones as you fight for your survival. Or join the zombie hoard that will chase humans through the course. Humans and zombies will battle it out across our wooded course on the grounds at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival site. Arrive early for a free zombie makeover, or dress in your Halloween costume to enter group and individual contests! Registration can be done pre-race or day of for an additional fee.  Will you make it our alive?
     
  3. Exiled KC
    Located on the ground of Zip KC, Kansas City’s newest frightful attraction is not for the faint of heart! Journey through a dark forest full of chilling characters and tricky obstacles. You’ll hike and crawl up hills and through trees with thrills lurking around every corner. But don’t be scared off, each participant is provided with a small flashlight to help you navigate the horrors waiting for you at Exiled KC.
     
  4. 3rd Street Asylum
    3rd Street Asylum is one of the Kansas City’s most anticipated Fall attractions! Located in an old abandoned high school, the haunted house brings your deepest, darkest fears to life! 3rd Street Asylum is open October weekends, as well as on Halloween.
