The Wyandotte County Historical Society and Museum houses one of the nation’s remaining Native American dugout canoes, as well as a rare 1903 American laFrance Steam Fire Engine. Exhibits cover Wyandotte County history, from the Stone Age up to the present. New to the site is the N.A.A. Bomber Builders Monument in honor of those employees who built 6,608 B-25 bombers in the Fairfax district during World War II.
